Lactobacilli MRS Agar is used for the cultivation of lactobacilli in a laboratory setting. Lactobacilli MRS Agar is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
Lactobacilli MRS Agar is based on the formulations of deMan, Rogosa and Sharpe (MRS). This medium supports luxuriant growth of lactobacilli from fecal, dairy, and other sources.
