Yeast Extract


CONTEXT:

Yeast extract is obtained through controlled digestion of Saccharomyces by autolysis. It constitutes an excellent source of vitamins and growth factors for bacteria, yeasts & moulds. It is a non-animal and non-GMO product. Kosher Pareve certification is available.

APPLICATION:

This product is differentiated by its unusual stability and clarity after sterilization, without either precipitation or turbidity. These elements allow it to be used in numerous culture media where clarity is a critical characteristic. It can also be used as a growth supplement in Cell Culture and other fermentation media
